    Rod length and Action??

From the graph you posted before, I knew you were in the channel. It's hard to fish without an electronic anchor. That is the one feature of the newer trolling motors that really, I am really helps when striper fishing. That's my opinion anyway. A good accurate graph also helps to identify where the channel is. I almost never fish over trees. However, there is always the lone tree that gets you now and then. Best to you and thanks for the info.

Hmmm, not sure, assume heavy and 6-6 or 7 ft. All of mine were purchased from White Jones or Lake Hartwell Fish & Marine.

    You're welcome.

Went out yesterday 7/11/2019 around 6pm, and went all the way down to the Singing Pines area looking. There were scattered fish around most of the points just off creek channels, and I was marking them consistently in 35-40FOW, keeping the boat in 50-70FOW. The wind was just a touch high for top water action, and I was never able to find the fish bunched together schooling. Still, a good number of fish from Singing Pines back toward Sadlers Creek on the SC side.

Great report Rockfish22. We will be heading out this evening somewhere. I have not fished the evening bite in a long time, so not sure what we'll find. I am definitely going to take and try and catch my first striper on a magnum spoon.
