    I expect you will get years and years of great service from her, those Suzuki's are great engines.
    Good Luck.

    Congrats! I'm thinking of getting a running hour meter installed for my 150-- I wish they came with them. The only service indicator is the oil light comes on under the tach-- seems stupid to have that as just an idiot light since unless you're keeping track of hrs, you might mistake a real problem developing for a maintenance reminder.

    Be sure to pay attention to the book on how to break it in for the first couple of running hours-- the computer tracks how you run it, and not paying strict attention to the break-in details can give them an excuse to void your warranty if any problems show up. Do what the books says-- the internet is full of very bad advice about breaking in these motors.

    wkelly, thanks for the advice, My tachometer indicates the number of hours you have on the engine every time you turn it on. It is also programmed to sound an alarm when service points are reached. So far very pleased.

    This is not the picture of mine but the same model and color of my 1986 glasstream 15 footer. Nothing special but I can fish for bass and artificial for striper.
    Thanks larryb227, Dino thanked for this post

    Took a home equity loan to do it, but it's a wonderful engine-- a couple grand less than the yamaha and honda engines, but easily as reliable according to everything I've read. I've just finished the 20 hr break-in period . It's a whisperer compared to my 2 stroke merc optimax;
    Here is TopTestbericht look at it

    Had mine for two hundred hours and love it! I purchased mine in the lower state. It is time for service and really need a local dealer. Where did you buy yours?

    If you are talking about a Suzuki, A1 marine in Lavonia is an authorized Suzuki service shop-- that's where I take mine for routine service. I find them to be professional, friendly, and technically skilled:
    A1 Marine | Lavonia Georgia Boat Dealer | New Boats Sales and Service | Used Boats Sales and Service | Bennington
    Ask them for a full diagnostic printout-- something they might or might not charge for-- for a good warranty record.
    Another plus-- both they and their sister shop Gordon's marine will pick up and drop off your boat for a reasonable fee (i think $75).
